It all started with Walk in the park and a conversation that lasted hours. From that very first meeting, we both felt something special—something that has grown into a love that brings us here today, ready to celebrate our journey with all of you.

It was the Winter of 2018 when we first met. Like many modern love stories, ours began online. What started as a few witty messages quickly turned into a decision to meet in person. On a cool February day, we met at a small park on the westbank. We both showed up a little nervous, but within minutes, it felt like we’d known each other forever.

Our first date was magical—partly because neither of us wanted it to end! After the park, there was a drive in movie, ( Timeless right) we both knew we’d stumbled upon something rare. We laughed so much that night, sharing stories, dreams, and maybe even a little too much snacks.

Over time, our connection grew stronger. From Late night road trips and road trips to lazy weekends binging our favorite shows, every moment brought us closer together. It wasn’t long before we realized that we’d found our person—the one we wanted to share every adventure with.

In December of 2024, Derek decided to go to dinner on a random tuesday. I thought it was a normal date but turned into a proposal by the lakefront. He got down on one knee with a ring pop and popped the question. I thought it was so funny until the real ring came out. What do you think I said? Spoiler: I said yes!

We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife. But first, we’re so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you—the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our story and for sharing in the joy of our big day.
